Klimaschutz und Nachhaltigkeit sind für uns Herzensangelegenheiten. Vieles wird bisher oft nur diskutiert, in der Seven Stones Klimasiedlung ist es bereits Realität. Wir sparen nicht nur extrem viel CO2 dank Geothermie, Blockheizkraftwerken und Solar-Paneelen ein, wir schaffen gleichzeitig zum Beispiel mit Streuobstwiesen neue Areale für Bienen und weiterer gefährdeter Insekten. Der Nutzen für das Klima und die Umwelt ist eindeutig, allerdings ist auch der Vorteil für die Bewohner enorm. Sie profitieren nicht nur von der Schönheit und Artenvielfalt auf dem grünen Gelände, Sie haben auf diese Art und Weise auch unabhängige, preisstabile Energielieferanten und im Sommer kühle Räume dank Flächentemperierung und kontrollierter Wohnraumbelüftung. Dies ist nebenbei auch in allen Bereichen ein fortschrittlicher Teil des Infektionsschutzes.

THE FUTURE IS NOW
While climate protection and sustainability are just starting to be discussed in many communities, these very important topics to us are already a reality at Seven Stones.  

Thanks to geothermal energy, block heating units and solar panels we’re able to significantly slash CO2 emissions. We don’t stop there. We are creating new areas for orchards that support the survival of bees and other endangered insects. It benefits both the climate and the environment. However, it’s also good for the residents. They get to live among natural beauty and enjoy the biodiversity of green spaces. They also have an independent, stable energy supplier as well as get to enjoy cool rooms during the summer months thanks to surface temperature control technology with controlled ventilation. Incidentally, ventilation is also a beneficial side effect as we try to control the spread of viruses inside buildings and rooms.

ENERGY & HEATING
Generating climate-friendly energy and heat through block power plants and photovoltaic systems. Any surplus energy is fed into the local power grid
KFW 40+ STANDARD
The first climate friendly community in Bochum is one of the main parts of the Seven Stones Quarter and is the basis for the environmentally friendly supply with energy and heat of the other buildings.‍‍

Dies spiegelt sich nicht nur in der Nutzung klimafreundlicher Träger für den täglichen Bedarf wieder, sondern findet sich auch bei jeder weiteren Entwicklung des Quartiers. Sowohl bei dem Bau als auch der späteren Bewirtschaftung setzen wir einen neuen, zukunftsweisenden Standard.
